b) organized the way that many therapists practiced their practice,

I'm an MFT working in private practice, and I created NotesPAD because the solutions that I found out there were either clunky and non-intuitive, had way too many bells and whistles (which made them overly complex), were not aesthetically pleasing, or were way overpriced. My goal in designing this database was to provide the functionality that most therapists use while still keeping it simple enough for non-computer people (i.e., most therapists!) to use.
